HD optical transmission fault how to solve
 
If the electrical signal is not received, the following steps are checked:
 
1 confirm that all the connections are correct, cable, cable and power are normal.

2 if the monitor screen, the optical fiber input from the receiver to disconnect, cable and power connections remain unchanged. Then proceed the following steps:

A screen with snowflakes usually means that the receiver is working normally, but may not receive enough light signals. Connect the optical fiber to the. If the screen is black, it means that the carrier output of the transmitter can not be modulated (that is, there is no video input signal) or the transmitter itself has a problem. Check the video input process on the transmitter: disconnect the signal source from the optical transmitter, then use a video cable to connect the signal source directly to the monitor. If the monitor works, replace the optical transmitter.
 
If B. in the fiber break condition, the monitor is still blank, you need to check and monitor all connected correctly. If all of the connections are not a problem, the other one is for a receiver or monitor.
 
3 if the video images have snow, the optical power of the receiver is detected by the optical power meter.
 
A. if the optical power meets the requirements of the receiver, the receiver may have a problem. Another receiver for a try. If you still can not solve the problem, and then another transmitter for a try.
 
B. if the receiver of the optical power below the calibration value, with the amount of light output from optical power meter and a piece of optical fiber jumper check transmitter. If the output meets the specification, it may be a problem for the optical fiber or optical connector. Clean the optical connector to confirm that the correct optical transmitter is selected according to the type and length of the optical fiber. If the light output is too low, then replace the transmitter.
 
4 if the video signal is good but no audio, then the connection is correct. The problem appears in the audio signal not connected properly or there is no suitable resistance. Check all of the above information is correct. If you can not solve the problem, then contact the manufacturers to replace equipment.
 
If the power HD transmitter normal, but can not work, then the following steps:
 
The A. monitor screen, data and camera control function.
 
1 from the optical fiber pull out. If the screen is no longer black but there is snow, then the light connection may be good.
 
2 ensure that the transmitter between the video BNC connection is intact.
 
B. monitor screen has snow (noise), data and camera control function normal. This is a part of the problem. Continue to follow the following steps:
 
1 from the transmitter optical fiber pull into a fiber jumper.
 
The other end of the 2 jumper insertion optical power meter.
 
A. if the reading and the index does not match, the transmitter has a problem, should be replaced.

If this is not the way, and there is no problem with the electrical connection, the receiver may have a problem and need to be replaced.
 
. when the PTZ control signals are sent to and fiber connection at the other end, transmitter, RD indicator light, or is to follow your operation and flashing, and is electrically connected correctly, but camera control is still not working properly, transmitter has a problem, should be replaced. If the RD indicator light is not bright, there may be a problem with the transmitter, it may be a problem for the receiver. Contact the manufacturer for further guidance.
